Nederlandse Caro scoort big time
Met het nummer Back It Up is de Nederlandse Caro (Caroline van der Leeuw) de eerste Nederlandse artiest die op de Amerikaanse muzieksite The Sixtyone een hit scoort. Nog voor de eerste 24 uur sinds upload voorbij zijn, staat het nummer met ruim 900 1000 punten al prominent op de voorpagina. Dat is weliswaar nog niet genoeg voor een plaats in de T61 Top Tien, maar het is zeker een goed begin. Hoe langer Back It Up op de voorpagina blijft staan, hoe meer punten het nummer haalt (is dat geen goede reden om lid te worden en zelf op het nummer te stemmen?)
Behalve bumps krijgt Caro ook veel reacties. Eén Luisteraar smeekte haar bijna om Back It Up via iTunes te koop aan te bieden. Wat ons betreft gebeurt dat ook en staat Caro binnenkort op nummer Eén in de de Nederlandse Top 40.
